ICS / RSinteract exhibit at exclusive SQL 'KATMAI' design review in Redmond, USA.
During the inaugural Microsoft BI Conference 2007, ICS (authors of RSinteract) was invited to exhibit at an exclusive 4-day SQL Server 'KATMAI' SYSTEM DESIGN REVIEW at Microsoft's Main Campus in Redmond, Washington, USA. During this time, ICS's Chief Technology Officer was able to submit feedback on the features that were proposed as part of the development roadmap for the next release of SQL Server - Katmai.
With only 80 seats available, the audience was able to benefit from a face to face session, hearing first hand about the release of SQL Server 2008 (Katmai). Furthermore, it provided a platform for discussion with experts from the SQL Server Engineering Team.
"These early meetings with the SQL Server engineers are extremely beneficial. It enables us to align our RSinteract development plans with SQL Server 2008, which means that our RSinteract customers can be assured of a future proof solution" says Dave Grant, CTO of ICS.
